Closed pretender-6aw in charly/pretender.
Implemented operating modes in pretender/src/main.rs: guidance and tiered now exit 0; gate fails on threshold/parse-error cases.
Updated human pretender check output to summarize files with ✓ / ⚠ / ✗ and banded cyclomatic/cognitive highlights.
Added CLI coverage in pretender/tests/cli_test.rs for default tiered behavior, config-driven gate mode, and yellow-band summaries.
Verified with cargo test, cargo clippy --all-targets --all-features -- -D warnings, pre-commit, and pre-push hooks.
Committed and pushed bacf738 (feat(check): wire guidance, tiered, and gate modes).
Decisions: treat bands as advisory summaries in human output; reserve non-zero exit codes for gate mode.
Next: pick the next ready P2 issue (pretender-3b5 report command or pretender-fb3 CI generator).
