Session:10:22 (charly-vibes ecosystem report triage and issue review)

• Reviewed validated Round 2 and Round 3 evaluation reports across 12 repositories and compared findings against each repository's existing tracker.
• Created 24 Beads tickets and 3 GitHub issues for missing actionable findings; avoided duplicates already tracked in dont and other repositories.
• Ran the five-pass issue-review workflow over the new issue set, then fixed all findings:
  • added concrete acceptance criteria, source provenance, verification commands, labels, and structured metadata.files arrays;
  • narrowed overlapping or ambiguous tickets and chose explicit trust, migration, sensor, and session-ID behavior;
  • split oversized work into espectacular-a77, three vampiro-410.* language slices, and fotos-hko=/=fotos-dn5;
  • raised validated CI, storage, and multi-language correctness findings to P1;
  • marked approval-bound work with hitl-approval and openspec-required.
• Refreshed all affected .beads/issues.jsonl exports and verified every reviewed Beads ticket has an array-valued file list, acceptance criteria, source, and verification command; all dependency graphs are cycle-free.
• Pushed healthy Dolt trackers for dulce-de-leche, espectacular, pretender, testaruda, vampiro, and paranoid. Per user direction, ignored wai's divergent Dolt history and treated its local JSONL export as authoritative; fotos, fabbro, and miblioteca also remain local-export-only because they have no Dolt remote.
• Updated jams issues #2-#4 with owned files, focused outcomes, provenance, verification, and triage labels.
• Decision: report-derived tickets should be tracer-bullet slices; bd update --metadata '{"files":[...]}' is required because --set-metadata 'files[…]'= stores a string rather than an array.
• Next: start with the P0 wai-5i1l trust proposal or another P1 AFK-ready ticket; obtain HITL/OpenSpec approval before implementing approval-gated slices.

Session:11:42 (genesis-5gf — cli_version API fix + v0.6.0 release + downstream tickets)

• Fixed genesis-5gf: removed CLI_VERSION default, made cli_version caller-supplied in all Envelope constructors
• Ran Rule of 5 review and applied polish fixes (doc comments, stale version refs, trailing blank line)
• Ran cargo fmt (pre-commit hook), committed, pushed: 2243cce
• Bumped genesis to v0.6.0 (breaking API change), tagged v0.6.0, pushed for GHA publish
• Discovered bd create --description with backticks breaks shell interpolation — used --body-file instead (recorded in ~/.whisper/rules.md)
• Created 6 P1 adoption tickets across downstream repos (wai-47m0, dont-88m8, espectacular-9ys, testaruda-2wwn, vampiro-aq0, DDL-iqv)
• Updated genesis-vjp epic with child ticket references
• pretender excluded — no envelope call sites
• Decision: published v0.6.0 via GHA; downstream adoption tickets are self-contained with call site lists and acceptance criteria

Session:12:15 (CI fix — publish workflow missing mdbook)

• Diagnosed v0.6.0 publish failure: GHA publish workflow's check job ran just ci (which includes mdbook build) but never installed mdBook
• Root cause: publish.yml was missing the taiki-e/install-action@mdbook step that ci.yml had
• Fix: added Install mdBook step to publish.yml check job, matching ci.yml
• Committed, pushed to main (7f0d0a9)
• Moved v0.6.0 tag from old commit to fixed commit (delete old tag, delete on remote, recreate, re-push)
• Verified publish workflow passed: CI checks ✓, publish to crates.io ✓
• genesis-vibes v0.6.0 now live on crates.io
• Next: implement the 6 downstream adoption tickets (espectacular first — 1 call site)

Session:16:45 (wai — 2 tickets closed + release v2026.8.5)

• Renewed wai workspace; no in_progress tickets, 2 ready
• wai-4guc (P2, genesis CLI ergonomics): replaced individual `-v`/`-q`/`–json` flags with genesis `CliVerbosity` and `CliFormat` flattened structs. Gained `–human` flag. Wired `Guide::set<sub>verbosity</sub>()`. TDD: 4 new integration tests, all 479 green.
• wai-91zm (P2, pretender.toml rollout): created `pretender.toml` for wai with app/test/script roles, added `pretender check` to lefthook.yml pre-commit and `just ci`, installed pretender in CI workflow. Closed per user direction (config task, unrelated to wai core).
• Release v2026.8.5: bumped version, tagged, pushed. Initial CI failure due to `pretender doctor` (exits non-zero in CI — no hook). Removed from CI pipeline. Second failure: `cargo publish` broken by `include<sub>str</sub>!` referencing `.wai/` (outside package). Fixed by copying skill templates into `src/commands/way/` and updating paths. Re-tagged, re-pushed. Both CI and Release workflows green.
• Decisions:
  • `pretender doctor` is a dev diagnostic, not a CI gate — removed from `just ci`
  • Skill templates embedded in `src/` to fix `cargo publish` (pre-existing bug since v2026.7.31)
  • wai-91zm closed as wai's part done; remaining 6 repos are cross-repo work
• Next: no ready work — all open tickets deferred to 2026-10-08 or blocked in epic wai-fvhv
