Built unified PDF:

chronological TOC, one issue per page-section; rendered with WeasyPrint
from cleaned HTML bodies (stripped Mailchimp styling, tracking pixels,
remote images)
Identified missing issues: #1 (archive starts at
#2, right after the "Welcome" email) and #43 (week of
Dec 15, 2025 skipped — holiday); all other issues arrived weekly on
Mondays
Second pass (user request): truncated each issue after Reuven's
signature — removed the "PS:" coaching pitch, footer ad,
whitelist/subscribe line, and postal address; PDF went 167 → 156 pages,
full-text verified zero boilerplate remaining
Technical note: first truncation attempt (regex +
hand-appended closing tags) made WeasyPrint fail with
RecursionError; fixed by re-extracting originals and doing
DOM-level truncation with BeautifulSoup (remove next-siblings of the
signature node, walking up to root)
Next: nothing pending
