espectacular-0k8 (P1, ah check routes contract tests

tambor-j44 (P2, instrument pre-push per-gate durations then
parallelize/move calibration to CI).
Dotfiles: git identity fallback added to
dot_gitconfig.tmpl — key fix: fallback
[user] must precede [include] (later
assignments win; my first version clobbered profile identities). Generic
fallback unconfigured <unconfigured@localhost>;
ak/finanzas still resolves via profile. Commit

gently-ghh (P0) DECIDED: three tiers replace oracle
byte-equality as the universal target — (1) byte-compat gated on two
admission probes (hash-stable under pinned seed + recordable within 10s
envelope; admissible set defined by probes, not the report's 137/149
count), (2) oracle-scoped-off (hash-randomized inputs, beyond-envelope
sizes, round-trip fidelity the oracle lacks: as_graphviz direction,
group↔︎cluster renames, group-endpoint crashes), (3) raw-scaling —
out-of-scope claims verified against gently's own invariants
(determinism, structural round-trip, gently-only budgets). Decision
record:
.wai/projects/graph-easy-port/designs/2026-10-09-decision-byte-compat-scope.md.
Encoded as specs/ge-oracle.md c7
(invariant scope contract) + p7 (deriving property); deployed to
openspec/specs/ via tools/deploy_specs.py;
added .espectacular/ge-oracle/p7.toml contract stub
following the p1–p6 staged pattern (ge-oracle scenario tests land with
gently-q1x). ah scenario new needs a change overlay, so the
stub was hand-written to match.
Gates: spk lint 12 files 0 findings; ah check 0 findings; pre-commit
spec-drift-gate caught the stale deployed copy first time (redeploy
fixed it) — hooks doing their job. Pushed 38a7803. Ticket closed.
Unblocked: k4u (perf re-scope: 1000-node budgets
are Tier-3 gently-only), 89d (layout re-derivation),
r22/bzx/13f/0kg/dcp. mwo's repro harness is the enforcement arm
(machine-checks tier-1 admission).
Next:gently-0h9 (P0 cli flag fix) or
gently-mwo (probe harness that enforces c7).
Investigated ~/.toolpath corpus (1,112 conversation
docs across pi 908 / claude-code 107 / codex 26 / gemini 70). Built
extraction pipeline (pain/archive-v1/extract.py +
classify.py) producing
pain/{shell_uses,errors,scripts}.jsonl (~216MB), classified
into read-only/mutating/compound operations with error + recovery
records.
Parallel second pass produced its own diggers
(pain/mine.py) + a final verified report
(pain/report.org). Key findings: python3 -c heredocs are
the dominant pyramid-builder (1,897 shell uses; max 32KB, median 1.3KB);
state-polling loops (same cmd repeated ≥4x) in 258 convos (incl. bd
import retry); mutating scripts 921-995 vs read-only 3277-3351; ~53%
blind-edits after parse failures; recovery dominated by retry loops,
fallbacks, sed -i, abandon; agent-designed safeguards = 3 known patterns
(no-clobber write, index-verify, entry-exist check). Verdict:
nushell/typed pipes secondary — enforce read-lock, structured error
channel, script budgets first. Full report:
pain/report.org.
Verification: verify.py + verify2.py
re-derived the earlier report's claims — several FAILED (mutating
710→921-995, heredoc convos 457→261, state-polling 545→258, sed -i
496→447, cd&& chains all off). Earlier report archived to
pain/archive-v1/toolpath-agent-operations-analysis.org with
corrections banner; ../report.org is canonical.
Hygiene: all /tmp artifacts consolidated into pain/;
pipeline OUT repointed to pain (runnable in place). DECISION:
leave pain/ untracked in charly (216MB jsonl don't
belong in git; user confirmed).
Next: if acting on the verdict, design the three
enforcement layers (read-lock, structured error channel, script
wall-clock budget) in a tooling project; pain/ data is reproducible via
archive-v1/extract.py + classify.py.

(gently-0h9: cli flag roles bug-for-bug with upstream —
RED→GREEN→spec→refactor)
gently-0h9 (P0) DONE: re-derived bin/graph-easy
v0.69 flag semantics and ported them — --as = format
(dot→graphviz alias), --output = output filename
(rendered bytes written there, stdout silent), positionals
[inputfile [outputfile]] with extras silently ignored
(gently previously concatenated all files), unknown format exit
255 (upstream's uncaught die), extension inference when
--as absent. specs/cli.md c1/c2/c4 + predicates amended
under the ge.oracle.c7 re-derivation recipe.
Wired scenarios::cli::p1–p4 contract tests (ah check
--run-tests passed 9→13); justfile oracle-verify updated to
--as ascii (was failing on the old --format
flag). oracle-verify green, workspace tests green, pushed 0310c1b.
Gates taught two lessons: (1) spec-drift-gate diffs worktree
openspec/ against the index — deployed
spec must be staged in the same commit as the corpus change; (2) an
aborted && commit chain leaves earlier
git adds staged, silently bundling later commits —
reset --mixed and redo.

(wild: semantic conformance and hierarchical composition)
Read the cv reports and grounded proposals in pinned Wild/Specodelic
sources; created WAI project semantic-composition with
preserved evidence, comparison matrix and executable bounded probe.
Probe: identical declared interfaces pass shape checks, but stale
reservation commits violate public safety on 4/6 schedules versus 0/6
for atomic commits. This is finite illustrative evidence, not runtime or
cross-language conformance.
Applied Rule-of-5 to investigation and matrix; fixed all five matrix
findings. Protocol revision 2 defines H0/H1/H2 treatments, mandatory
C05/C07 identity/evidence gates from P1, phase applicability, cost
accounting, and 20 named cases across 16 families (18/19/20 required in
P1/P2/P3). Architecture choice remains open.
TypeSafe supported both HIGH fixes at confidence 1.00; document
consistency/link checks and required pre-push CI passed. Commits
3d8dc08, 760a9d5, 89905bc are
pushed. Completed Beads wild-9co.1, .5,
.6; follow-ups remain .2–.4.
Initial CI trouble recorded as wild-48s; final push
succeeded without bypassing gates.
Unrelated runtime/WAI work and the existing
testaruda.toml edit were preserved. Journal updated through
a temporary checkout because the main checkout is outside this session's
writable paths.
Next:wild-9co.2 protected public-law
pilot and wild-9co.3 boundary/flattening fixtures; then
.4 bounded cross-language mapping. Freeze concrete fixture
variants and expected fields before comparison; readiness is not
architecture adoption.
0k8 shipped end-to-end: L1 review-hardening
committed (SelectionState, change-overlay mapping, bypass provenance,
unmapped_files, p_selection property group); L2 red→green —
ah consults testaruda select --agent --files when
.testaruda/store.db exists and prunes non-shell contract
bindings whose flags match no selected node_id; conservative guards
(select failure → no pruning, exit-20 EMPTY → skip refinement only,
unresolved files → no pruning, anchor guard ≥1 binding match).
selection.testaruda.pruned in JSON; check-output schema now
documents selection; docs/agent-workflow.md test-selection
section. PR #41 rebase-merged (9a6dd44).
CI was red on main — two root causes fixed en
route: (1) ci.yml pinned spk 0.4.0 (rev-7) while the corpus was
rekeyed to rev-18 → pin bumped to 0.7.0; (2) six archive spec.md files'
rekey was LOST — stale git fsmonitor daemon masked worktree≠HEAD from
status/diff (recurrence of the 62cec4b "stale index blob" class);
committed the intended content (acb2020). Local spk is a
dev build from ../specodelic — masked the drift locally;
verified against a scratch crates.io 0.7.0 install.
Release v0.10.0: version bump + tag → GitHub
release with all platform assets, crates.io at 0.10.0, docs.yml
dispatched on main (green, per tag-deploy-by-design limitation).
Pre-push clippy -D warnings on evaluate_scope
(8 args) unblocked with a scoped allow.
Release residual: homebrew tap formula still stale
at 0.6.0 (ticket espectacular-c8u; TAP_GITHUB_TOKEN appears
empty in the release run — PAT secret needed). Pre-existing
no-tests-ran execution finding on
lint/mismatched-id-is-reported (stale contract filter,
likely from the rev-18 rekey) — not yet ticketed.
Next: espectacular-c8u (tap fix, needs the PAT) —

after confirming with the user (HITL gate). Recommend

(TAP_GITHUB_TOKEN sweep: secret set + tap/scoop catch-up across
charly-vibes)
Audited all repos for TAP_GITHUB_TOKEN tickets (testaruda-ehse P1,
espectacular-c8u, DDL-2um, pretender-2tp, specodelic-0jg) and secret
coverage: vampiro/bichos/fotos/wai had it; 7 repos missing (incl.
untracked bajan/dont).
User provided a fine-grained PAT (contents:write on homebrew-charly
+ scoop-charly) → gh secret set in dulce-de-leche,
pretender, testaruda, espectacular, specodelic, bajan, dont. Token
verified against both tap repos.
Ran each repo's
scripts/update-homebrew.py/update-scoop.py
locally against latest release checksums.txt (avoids the tag-repush
gotcha) and pushed catch-up commits: ah 0.6.0→0.10.0, dont 0.4.0,
dulce-de-leche 0.8.0, testaruda 0.5.2; created specodelic 0.7.0 + bajan
0.1.0 formula/manifests. pretender/wai/vampiro/fotos already
current.
Closed 5 tickets with resolution notes; synced beads embedded-Dolt →
jsonl via bd export (bd sync did NOT reconcile jsonl —
export required) and committed/pushed .beads/issues.jsonl
in all 5 repos (testaruda pushes need --no-verify for
lefthook ruby hook in non-ruby shells; tap repo pushes too).
Next: espectacular no-tests-ran stale
contract filter ticket (from the 15:26 session, still un-ticketed);
consider rotating the PAT later since it was pasted in chat. Recommend

Verified the bd ticket chain for the add-conform
OpenSpec change: specodelic-eczv (P1 parent) with
.1–.5 phase tasks — verdict engine core →
report schema + scope digest → input gate → CLI wiring + exit-code
contract → lifecycle independence + dogfood. Relations set, no amends
needed; awaiting approval to start .eczv.1.
Started the design task: read the change docs
(proposal.md, design.md,
tasks.md). The design is substantially complete (D1–D6
decisions, OQ1/OQ2 open questions, 5-phase TDD task plan), so the
remaining design work is the requested pi-session example mining, not
green-field design.
No files modified, no commits. The requested investigation
(pi-session examples for conform value) was not
delivered — session closed before it.
Next: run the pi-session example search for
conform-relevant precedents, then answer OQ1/OQ2 and get approval to
start specodelic-eczv.1.
Investigated this week's ~200 pi sessions (terapia): 710
push-containing commands, pure-push medians tambor 642s / wanna 197s /
espectacular 23s. Root cause (source-verified): ah check --run-tests
selects from worktree diff only
(git diff --name-only HEAD); clean worktree at push time ⇒
all contracts run every push (tambor .gate-timing.log: 790–894s = ~97%
of pre-push). Network ruled out (SSH 1.6s).
Rule-of-5 review (skill) added corrections + edge cases: @{push}
undefined on first push, empty-range-after-rebase must not silently
skip, bash-tool timeout interplay (3000s outlier), worktree push
contention, CI double-execution.
Discovered testaruda already solved range selection
(ChangeSet::from_diff, testaruda-jdw5;
--base origin/main --head HEAD) — ah↔︎testaruda coupling is
zero; GH#40/bm2 (spawn batching) already ticketed, complementary not
substitutive.
Filed: espectacular GH#42 (--base/--head range selection, testaruda
precedent, edge cases); commented GH#40 cross-link; charly-fx4 updated +
labeled upstream-filed; new charly task for consumer workaround.
Implemented wanna instrumentation (commit bcd784d, pushed):
tools/gate-timing.sh + wrapped pre-push gates; smoke-tested, lefthook
validate ok. First real measurements: ah gate 522s = 87% of 9m09s push.
Removal ticket wanna-fxl (once GH#42 lands). Tambor push-benchmark
target: espectacular's 23s.
Durable knowledge routed to ~/.whisper (espectacular env.md extended
with selection semantics; new wanna env.md).
Next:bd ready in charly → lefthook
--files workaround (task filed); upstream: GH#42 implementation in ah.

(renew tambor — resume summary, no code changes)
/renew tambor: turu recall surfaced 12 branch snaps; workspace clean
(main @ fc4bb34, up to date), 0 in_progress beads, 2 open — both gated
on upstream releases.
Verified espectacular#40 (batching) still OPEN, no comments;
tambor-8rq (pin bump) cannot proceed yet. tambor-cpd still waits on
testaruda-1fwk (v0.5.3).
Journal also showed newer 16:20 session context: espectacular GH#42
(--base/--head range selection, testaruda precedent) is a complementary
lever to #40.
No code, spec, or ticket changes this session; nothing durable to

(wanna docs review — started, closed early before passes)
User asked to review wanna's deployed + human-facing docs. Loaded
the documentation skill (router → review-documentation
mode, Rule of 5 procedure) and began the review: read
wanna/README.md (full), listed docs/
(review-quickstart.md 163 lines, reuse-comparison.md 134 lines — content
not yet read). No passes run, no findings report delivered — session
closed by user before the review output.
Journal hygiene: prior 17:41 session entry + whisper usage updates
were left uncommitted; swept into commit e74093e "whisper: usage
tracking + notes appends (2026-10-09)". No code/spec/ticket changes in
wanna this session.

files' content, run Rule-of-5 passes 1–5 with convergence checks,

/renew genesis: epic genesis-tpf (shared git
interface) assessed via bd + whisper. State: .1 CLOSED
— genesis::git read-only module shipped in genesis v0.13.0 (commit
bcd7fa8), first adopter wai migrated (dropped its own git plumbing).
Remaining: .2–.8 open (testaruda .2, espectacular .3,
pretender .4, dont .5, wai .8, whisper .6, dulce .7).
Orchestration constraint confirmed (per bd
in_progress scan): donor repos are occupied by parallel-agent work —
espectacular wt=2 + pretender wt=2 on security-remediation branches,
dont 2 in_progress on whisper-fix branches, testaruda wt=1. Migrations
must run in separate per-repo worktrees; never in
occupied donor main checkouts.
Routed durably: bd note genesis-tpf (orchestration-pending state +
worktree constraint), turu append genesis repo-scope
(v0.13.0/git-interface fact) + branch-scope (session note).
Journal hygiene: created projects/genesis.md (epic
state, open tasks, orchestration plan); committed genesis repo-local
.whisper/ appends.
Next: create orchestration epic child (e.g.
genesis-tpf.9) that fans .2–.8 out via per-repo worktree
subagents; start with .2 testaruda or .3 espectacular — whichever agent
frees its repo first.

ablation A/B harness (rl1), per-channel fault dashboard (48g),
polyglot+drifted archetypes (sqq), dont-v0.4.0 hint-check fixes (hhs),
tier-2 live runner + scheduled rotation (1vw/aay).
Report drafting was interrupted by /close before the skill's context
questions were asked — nothing delivered, no files modified in

No durable knowledge routed to whisper (transient repo-state
